Part-Time Clinic Physiotherapist
Fixed clinic sessions on the days that suit you — treatment rooms and equipment ready, no admin overheads.
Not every physiotherapist wants a full-time contract or the logistics of home visits. Part-time clinic sessions are the middle path: you commit to a set number of hours at a partner clinic in Melaka, treat patients in a fully equipped room, and go home when your session ends. It suits people balancing studies, young families, a second job, or simply a preference for structured hours.
PhysioMelaka works with clinics across Melaka that need extra hands on specific days — a busy Saturday morning, a weekday evening after office hours, or cover during a permanent therapist’s leave. You pick the sessions that fit your life.
What the work looks like
You arrive for a defined session — say four hours on a Tuesday and Thursday evening — and work through a booked list of outpatients. Cases are typically musculoskeletal: back and neck pain, knee and shoulder problems, sports injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation. The clinic provides the plinth, electrotherapy, exercise equipment, and front-desk support, so you focus purely on treating.
Because the clinic handles booking, billing, and follow-up admin, your part-time hours are almost entirely patient-facing. That makes sessional work efficient: your pay reflects treatment time, not paperwork.
Who this suits
- Recent graduates who want mentorship and a structured environment while building clinical confidence.
- Physiotherapists returning to practice after a career break who prefer a gradual re-entry.
- Parents and carers who need predictable, bounded hours.
- Clinicians already working elsewhere who want to add a few sessions a week.
- Anyone who prefers a ready-equipped clinic over travelling between homes.
What we ask of you
You must hold current MAHPC registration and be comfortable working inside an existing clinic team, following its protocols and record-keeping standards. Reliability matters most in sessional work — clinics book patients around your committed hours, so turning up on time and giving notice for changes keeps the relationship healthy.
As with every PhysioMelaka role, we expect honest practice: treat what needs treating, progress patients toward discharge, and never pad a plan of care.
How pay works
Part-time clinic sessions in Melaka generally pay RM 30 to RM 70 per hour, settled by the session. Rates sit toward the higher end for therapists with a specialist skill set — sports, women’s health, or neurological rehabilitation — or for unsociable hours such as late evenings and weekends. Because equipment and admin are provided, your hourly rate is close to take-home.
How to apply
Applying takes a minute. Message us on WhatsApp or email your CV, and tell us your MAHPC registration status, years of experience, the arrangement you prefer, the Melaka areas you can cover, and your availability. There is no long form and no obligation — we will get back to you to talk through the roles that fit.
Figures are market-based estimates in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) for guidance only. Your actual rate depends on your experience, qualifications, the arrangement, and any specialist skills, and is confirmed with you individually.
